This is a series of glassy and glowing acrylic paintings. They are reflective with iridescent highlights and layers of color. These are too hard to resist when it comes to gliding your fingertips across the surface. They look like stained glass or tile but in reality they are simply paint on lightweight canvas stretchers. These paintings are sure to liven up any space.

The pearly highlights and shimmery blues are a feast for the eyes. As you move through your space the colors reflect and shift in the light. The painting has a unique personality from every angle.

Big things do come in small packages. The vibes coming from this little blue color gem are perfect for a small space. Enjoy the grout-like lines against the reflective blue glazes that draw your attention ever closer. This is one of my favorites.

Teal is a popular color and this painting has almost every version of it! The cool tones are relaxing and cheerful. Many layers of shiny glazes push the stained-glass illusion. This painting is truly luminous and delightfully simple. We need more of that.
Inspired by the beautiful patinas found on the aging surfaces of old factory windows this series adds beauty to any space regardless of your decorating style. Picture these against a brick wall or in your office space. A splash of color goes a long way in creating a beautiful environment for home or work environments.
This painting was inspired by the warm evening tones of a summer sunset. The sky by the lake is reminiscent of a planetarium glow. Sometimes during the cool winter months it is wonderful to be reminded of the sun and warmth on our faces from a hot summer evening.

Coppers and rich pthalo green fill this composition with a metallic and rich luster. Pick a spot with light so it may reflect off of the vibrant surface. This illusion of an aged and distressed window is teaming with colors only nature can rival.

Inspired by the Gulf of Mexico i couldn't wait to bring this palette to life. Warm sand, blue skies and turquoise water sooth the soul. Its a reminder of worry-free days.

Good as gold. This is loaded with layers, colors and metallic highlights. It just glows. If I could capture the sunshine with my paintbrush this is what it would look like. It shines boldly.

What started as a photo of Little Italy soon became obscured with a color palette that reminds me of the big city. Lots of rusty distressed surfaces took over with only a glimmer of an image peeking through. I must admit that sometimes the paintings have a mind of their own.
Embedded behind the layers of color there are images that peek through for you to discover. The photos reveal themselves throughout the compositions sometimes in an obvious manner or otherwise in a subtle way that leads to surprising revelations as imagery comes into focus. These can be made personally for you through a simple commission process.

A hot summer sunset hides behind simulated window panes. Each small rectangle is a feast of color that dances in the final glow of your well-deserved evening of relaxation.

Look closely and you will see the glow of dusk over a field of gorgeous textures and wild plants loving their untamed freedom. Nature has a way of knowing how to be beautiful without our help. It appears that you are viewing this image through a cool semi-transparent palette of blue glass. This is my acrylic glaze at work.

A painting with a Great Lakes view. In the lower right quadrant are hints of a sunset over the Lake. The colors are vibrant with a whitewashed look muting the intensity of this beautiful piece. If you are a fan of the distressed look this is for you.

Cleve-Land that I love. CLE is embedded in the heavy colors and layers of metallic gold paint. Its a little hometown pride on my part. If you are from Cleveland you probably get it!

There's no doubt that sunsets work in art. Here is my take on the matter. I took the picture during a July 4th extravaganza. No one at the party was doing anything but gazing at the miracle in the sky.

Perched on the water's edge is a park with spectacular views of Cleveland. What a beautiful day to be at the lake. This painting captures the splashing waves and city skyline. The photo floating behind the windows is visible through thin layers of rust and blue tones.

Never more proud to be a cloud. This cloud floats by behind a rainbow of colors. There is no doubt that this painting has an emotional impact that reflects the joy of adding beauty to the world.

See the little bird in the lower right section? It was sitting among some bright red branches contemplating a new home. Maybe the new home will be with you?

A tribe fan would approve of this take on the boys of summer. Glimpses of Terminal Tower, the scoreboard and the field can be seen throughout the image. The colors are festive like the game that is beloved by many fans. Hopefully we'll see another great year!

This giant sculpture adorns one of Cleveland's most grand bridges. There are four guardians of transportation that make up this landmark. The colors are rich and transparent so that the guardian can stand tall in full view.

Why is this named Joshua? Honestly, my son was driving when I rolled down the window and snapped this picture out of a moving vehicle. It's quirky, a little blurry and glowing. This has been a popular image in my work as I have made many versions large and small for sales and commissions. Thanks for driving, Josh!
